Byron M. Fish 65 of Greenup KY, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

Byron was born in Richmond KY on September 17, 1951 a son of the late David J. Fish and the late Helen Mundy Fish Williams.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of the St. James A.M.E. Church in Ashland and the St. John’s A.M.E. Church in Greenup; a member of the American Legion Post 590 and the VFW in Ironton, was a Kentucky Colonel and a retired operator with Marathon Petroleum.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a son, Byron Barrow and two brothers, Carlos and Ronald Fish.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Black Fish; a son, Darrell Smith of Ashland; two daughters, Charisma Thompson of Wurtland and Bianca Fish of Greenup; two brothers, David Fish of Weirton WV and Wilby Fish of Erlanger KY; two sisters, Adriennia Reed of Erlanger and Birdell Thomas of Ashland; six grandchildren, Cameron, Austin, Jama, Drew, Zyen and Isys; two great grandchildren, Vega and Doss; five aunts; a uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 30 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Howard Miller.

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till the service on Monday.
