Deb's family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss her so much. There was always a smile when I walked in her office, no matter how chaotic her day was. An Irish Prayer:
"Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal;
Love leaves a memory
no one can steal"

Debbie was, as I'm sure most who knew her would say, a light in every room she entered. I was her assistant for some time here in the Austin, TX office. I loved working with her and being around her in general. Working with each other, I came to know and love her dearly. Not only was she sweet and kind, she was a firecracker with sharp whit and the best laugh in the world. I also know that her family was everything to her. Pictures of her parents, sisters, nieces and nephews surrounded her everyday here. She loved every one of you with all her heart and she knew that you loved her. She struggled in this life and I miss her as does everyone still down here looking up. I feel comfort knowing that God called her up to live in peace and joy with him. She was an angel and God wanted his angel by his side. I know Debbie is with her family in spirit, and I pray for healing and comfort. Thank you for gracing us with Deb's presence. It was an honor and a blessing.

Losing Deb was so unexpected...knew her for almost 30 years...always the sweetest, kindest person I knew...she was always there for you and in that, she will be sorely missed. But we are not blessed with many of her ilk...I felt very blessed to have known her. Her sincerity and kindness was an example to us all. Will continue to ask Deb for her help and am sure she will still be there for me. Condolences to her family...such a terrible shock and loss. ANd thank you, Deb, for being my friend.

I was fortunate to know Debbie for 25 years as we worked together at Daniels-Head Insurance, she in the Ohio office and me in the Texas office, but we talked frequently. We were excited when she moved to Austin, Texas to work in our office. She was highly respected by everyone and everyone cared for her deeply. Over the last two years I had the privilege of officing with her and I got to know her on an even better level - we became friends, not just co-workers! Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was the kindest and most caring person I've known in quite some time! We talked about so many things and laughed, sometimes so hard we'd have tears! She was a true treasure and I am honored to have called her my friend. I will miss her every day. She is always in my thoughts and the family is in my prayers. Words can't make the grief easier but I am so sorry for your loss.
