Edna Marie Adkins 72 of Wheelersburg OH went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus OH.

She was born in Greenup County Kentucky on May 14, 1945 a daughter of the late James Harvey & Edna Wright Adkins.

She was a friend of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by three brothers, Calvin Adkins, Charles Adkins and Raymond Adkins and two sisters, Helen Justice and Hazel Simones.

She is survived by a brother, Howard Adkins of Wheelersburg; three sisters, Nora Salmons of Sciotoville, Gladys Coleman of Wheelersburg and Thelma Adkins of Ashland and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Wright’s funeral Home in Greenup KY by Elders Gary Adkins and Paul Moore.

Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Flatwoods KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2017 and from Noon till the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
