James Thomas Hylton 71 of Greenup went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018 at his residence.

He was born in Dayton Ohio on October 21, 1946 a son of the late Hurston & Betty Rhea Hylton.

Uncle Jim was an in-home caregiver to both his sister (Peg Hurley) and his brother in law (Dail Hurley).  After they passed away, Jim retired and moved to Kentucky in 2007. He was a member of Amvets Post 95 and a U.S. Marine serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by 2 nieces, Lorri Daly and Tammy Livingston; a nephew, Mark Hurley and many of neighbors and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2018 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE by Dr. Tom Melvin.

There is no visitation.
