Karen Ann Wilburn 48, of Oakland Iowa formally of Greenup County went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

She was born on June 22, 1969 in Portsmouth Ohio a daughter of the late Clayton and Myrtle Adkins Madden.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother, Clayton Madden.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Clay Wilburn; three children, James Wilburn and Adam Wilburn both of Oakland and Matthew Wilburn of Cherokee Iowa; a grandson, Layne Wilburn; brothers, Ernie Madden of Ashland, David Madden of Lexington, Hugh Madden of Taylor MI, Bobby McKee and Mark McKee both of Flatwoods; sisters, Fannie Madden - Grider of Morehead and Schavanna McKee of Flatwoods and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Floyd Neace.

Burial will be in the Wilburn Cemetery in Warnock KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 10 and one hour before the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
