Yvonne Louise “Cookie” Diamond 68, of South Shore went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Columbus OH on February 22, 1949 a daughter of the late George & Betty Lyons Crum.

She was a retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center as a nurse and a member of the Eastern Star Radiance Chapter in South Shore.

She is survived by her husband Charles Albert Diamond; two sons, Richard Michael Diamond and his wife Stacy and Jeffery Scott Diamond both of South Shore; a brother, George Crum Jr. of Ironton; a sister, Tina Parker and her husband Kenny of Westwood; 10 grandchildren, Morgan Woods, Blake Diamond, Shanna Diamond, Jeremiah Diamond, Matthew Diamond, Emily Diamond, Gracie Terry, Hallie Scott, Sara Rawlins and Sami Rawlins; three great grandchildren, Jayce Bryant, Liam Diamond and Abrille Skye Woods and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be Noon, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Butch Crum.

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the service Wednesday.
