1939 – 2024

Betty Clothine Hunt Boyles 84 of South Shore KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Greenup KY.

She was born in Washington Court House OH on May 5, 1939, a daughter of the late Raymond H. & Mary Cook Hunt.

She was a member of the Load Church of Christ and a former cook at South Shore Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Charlie Boyles Jr.; three brothers, Luther Hunt, Ed Hunt and Danny Hunt and three sisters, Hazel Hunt Moore, Erma Hunt Gladman and Catherine Hunt Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Guy Eugene Boyles and his wife Deanne of Absarokee MT and Clay Edmond Boyles and his wife Angelia of Greenup; four grandchildren, Jacob Boyles of Cold Strip MT, Keigan McQuillan of London England, Danica Boyles (Kirby VanHorn II) of Clarksburg WV and Dakota Boyles of Greenup; four brothers, Larry Hunt of Alburn Hills MI, Clyde Hunt of Pontiac MI, Steve Hunt of South Shore KY and Elbie Hunt of South Shore KY; a sister, Phyllis Johnson of Otisville MI along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers Keith Johnson and Bernie Parsons.

Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery on Rt. 7 in Greenup County KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and from 1:00 PM till the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
