Wilma Fay Bowling 79 of Load KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Rowan County Kentucky on June 5, 1944, a daughter of the late Hobert & Maxie McDaniel Mabry.

She was a member of the Load Christian Baptist Church, a former Cook at Warnock and Lynn Grade Schools. She loved Kentucky Basketball, Ohio State Football, spending time with her family and all the activities at Morning Point.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Kenneth Wade Bowling in 2019.

She is survived by a son, Chris Bowling and his wife Vicky of Load KY; three daughters, Sherry Carlin and her husband Ray of Load, Teresa Springer and her husband Michael of Louisville and Billie Morrison and her husband Rick of Wurtland; a brother, Talmage Mabry and his wife Connie of Columbus OH; a sister, Kay Riffe (Greg Clark) of Flatwoods; seven grandchildren, Punky Kennard, Sarah Taylor, Garrett Bowling, David Nickel, Erica Willis, Jessica Morrison and Tonya Winn along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Load Christian Baptist Church in Load KY by Brother Robbie Bond.

Burial will follow in the Quillen Cemetery in Lynn KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY and from 9:00 AM till the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
