Alice Kay Johnson 75 of Load KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Lynn Kentucky on April 10, 1942 a daughter of the late Joe Vernon & Doris Elouise Meadows Allen.

She was and teacher, high school principal and education administrator for the Greenup County School Systems, an instructor for Ashland Community College and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother, Bobby Joe Allen. 

She is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Johnson; a daughter, Joetta Leigh Campbell and her husband Neymon of Tallahassee FL; two grandchildren, Kenton Colley of Louisville and Kayla Herren and her husband Zach of Summerville SC; two great grandchildren, Easton Herren and Kenleigh Herren and a host of extended family, former students and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Wright’s Funeral home in Greenup KY by Brother John Brown.

Burial will follow in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Friday and one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
