Carlos Cecil Clark 78 of Flatwoods went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Woodland Oaks Nursing Home in Ashland KY.
He was born on April 13, 1941 a son of the late Doc Amos & Mary Adkins Clark.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flatwoods, a retired laborer in the store room at C.S.X., he loved to golf, was an avid U.K. Wildcats fan, he loved to vacation in Pigeon Forge and was a former member of C.S.X. Bowling League.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by five brothers, George Clark, Walter Clark, Larry Clark, Gene Clark and Ray Clark and six sisters, Betty Jo Perdue, Jewell Cantrell, Ruby Evans, Dorothy Griffith, Irene Barney and Rhoda Davidson.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Phyllis Jean Clark; a brother, John Paul Clark of Ashland; his fur baby, Duke and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2019 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers John Riley and Dave Daniels.
Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY.
Visitation will be from 6:00 till 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 and one hour before the funeral Friday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews, Danny Cantrell, Larry Cantrell, Mike Davidson, Tom Shanks, James Price and Ronnie Clark.
