Clinton Elwood Snoddy

Clinton Elwood Snoddy 92, of Wilmore KY formerly of Wurtland went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Wesley Village Senior Living Community in Wilmore.

He was born in Wurtland KY on January 4, 1927 a son of the late John & Ethel Bonzo Snoddy. 

He was a member of Gideon’s International and the United Methodist Church. Along with his wife, he owned the former Snoddy Insurance Agency in Raceland KY. Was a retired machinist for the C&O Railroad and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Joann Boyle Snoddy in 2016; a son, Timothy K. Snoddy and a sister, Imogene Snoddy Wells.  

He is survived by a daughter, Terrie Lyn Stuart and her husband Rev Farley Stuart III of Lexington; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM July 31, 2019 at Ashland Cemetery in Ashland KY by Rev. Farley Stuart III.

Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery.   

There is no visitation.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
