Edith Zornes Obituary

Edith Pearl Zornes 80 of Lucasville OH formally of Greenup went to be with the lord on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Lucasville.

She was born in Langley KY on April 16, 1939 a daughter of the late Floyd & Martha Ellen Frasure Layne.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Vernon Zornes; three brothers, Donnie Ray Layne, Walker Layne and Willie David Layne and a sister, Mary Jane Gantz.

She is survived by two brothers, Malcolm Layne and his wife Viola of Greenup and Robert Layne of Michigan; a sister in law, Suzann Layne of Beaver OH and a host of extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with the arrangements.
