Edward "Ed" Rhoades III Obituary
Edwin Alonza “Ed” Rhoades III 69 of Lloyd KY went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington WV.
He was born in Centre County Pennsylvania on October 9, 1948 a son of the late Edwin Alonza & Mary Shae Rhodes II.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of God’s Tabernacle in Raceland KY.
He is survived by his wife Connie Sue Bramblett Rhoades; a son, Edwin Alonza Rhodes IV of Milesburg PN; a daughter, Nichole Acer and her husband Tom of Texas; two brothers, Lewis Rhoades and Jeffery Rhoades both of Milesburg; two sisters, Shirley Walters and Gertrude Houser both of Milesburg; two grandchildren, Trevor and Owen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 Friday, September 7, 2018 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Rick May.
Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Military honors will be conducted by the Kenova American Legion.
