Gloria Dean “Deanie” Thornton of Raceland KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2018 a Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Ironton OH on October 13, 1951 a daughter of the late William Lonzo & Opal Adams Hayes.

She attended the Westwood Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Everett Thornton; a son, James Lonzo Thornton and his wife Susan of Kodiak TN; two daughters, Lisa Dawn Colley and her husband Gary of Mt. Sterling and Tina Lynn Thornton of Raceland; three brothers; Stanley Hayes and his wife Teresa of Argillite, Ricky Hayes and his wife Debbie of Argillite and Steven Hayes of Westwood; a sister, Judy Coffey and her husband Curt of Flatwoods; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
