Jessie Christy Obituary

Jessie Mae Christy 89, a lifelong resident of the Lloyd Community, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born on Graysbranch Road in Lloyd on May 19, 1930 a daughter of Elige & Nannie Brown Clay.

She was a member of the Brick Union Church and a longtime caretaker of the Brick Union Cemetery.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Morton Christy and a brother, James Robert Clay.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Ann Allen and her husband Denver of Lloyd along with a many extended family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Brick Union Cemetery.

There will no viewing.
