John William Justice

John William Justice 59 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell KY.

He was born on September 9, 1959 a son of the late Vernon & Artha Lee Linkous Justice.

He was a self employed concrete finisher, a member of Laborers Local #1445, a former member and Captain of the Little Sandy Fire Department. He loved his family and being a Papaw, the outdoors and fishing with his buddies.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Diane Baker Justice; two daughters, Amanda Diane Justice-Sewell and her husband Kevin of Lexington and Sarah Nichole Justice of Worthington; a grandson, Henry Nicholas Sewell; four sisters, Molly Melvin and her husband Dan of Parker CO, Phyllis Jo Bussey and her husband Mark of Ashland, Jeanette Melvin and her husband Tom of Raceland and Sally Wilkinson of Fort Myers FL; his father in law, Donald Baker; his fur baby, Buddy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Greenup First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

Burial will follow in the Baker – Smith Cemetery in Greenup County.

Visitation will be after 6:00 Saturday and one hour before the funeral Sunday at the church fellowship hall.

The family humbly request that everyone dress in their casual clothes for both services. John would have wanted it that way.
