Julia Ailene “Tiny” Withrow 80 of Wurtland Kentucky went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her home.

She was born December 27, 1936 in Wurtland a daughter of the late Chester and Linda Meade Melvin.

Julia was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Lafayette Withrow; a daughter,  Melissa Salyers; 3 brothers, Charles (Louise) Melvin, Gary Melvin, Chester (Jean) Melvin and 3 sisters, Billie (Ken) Maynard, Evelyn (Charlie) Russell and Opal (Elmer) Menshouse.

She was a faithful member of the Oldsteam Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Rose Humphrey and her husband Danny of Wurtland; a son, Brian Withrow and his wife Betsy of Wurtland; 4 grandchildren, Tabitha (Gerry) Wheeler, Eric (Christy) Bays , Donald Ray Salyers and Mike Short; 9 great grandchildren,  Blake, Shanna, Micah, Zach, Nakayla, Jacob, Alyssa, Makenna, Zander; 2 great great grandchildren, Jayce and Rylee; a sister in law, Icie Melvin; a son in law, Donald Salyers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends whom loved and will miss her very much.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November12, 2017 at Wrights Funeral Home in Greenup by Brothers Jack McCleese and Rodney Vance.

Burial will follow in the Melvin Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM Saturday and one hour before the service Sunday at the funeral home.
