Laura Gibbs Obituary
Laura Francis Gibbs 83 of Lexington KY formally of Raceland went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington.
She was born on May 15, 1936 in Johnson County KY a daughter of the late Ozie & Anna Laura Meade Webb.
She was a home maker and was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Charles Gibbs and a daughter, Vicki Lynn Prince.
She is survived by three daughters, Vivian Irene Potter of Lexington and Laura June Kelly and Angela M. Gibbs both of Raceland; a brother, Charlie Webb of Paintsville; a sister, Ailene Grubb of Flatwoods; six grandchildren, Dana Smith, Rebecca Hernandez (Alberto), Jessica Leigh Rose (David), Cody Kelly (Darien), Justin Kelly and Allison Queen; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren along with several extended family members and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Dixon Cemetery in Westwood KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM till 1:00 PM Wednesday at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
