Sidney Joe Stepp

Sidney Joe Stepp 77 of Argillite KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

He was born on October 5, 1941 in Argillite a son of the late Sam & Grace McKnight Stepp.

He was of the Protestant Faith, a retired Welder and Maintenance Worker for Progress Rail and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a grandson, Brandon Tyler Stepp; four brothers, Willie Stepp, Darrell Stepp, Ernest Stepp and Robert Stepp and three sisters, Rena Brown, Faye Brink and Janet Stepp.

He is survived his wife of 56 years, Geraldine McCarty Stepp; a son, Randy Stepp and his wife Sherri of Louisville KY; two daughters, Tammy Hulett and her husband Larry and Donna Jo Burton and her husband Jeff all of Argillite; three grandchildren, Hollie Jo Hulett, Brandi Gumbert and Steven Danner; a brother, Eddie Stepp of Flatwoods; two sisters, Helen Beiter of Columbus OH and Gay McCarty of Argillite along with a host on nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Oldfield Cemetery in Argillite KY by Brother Jimmy Harris.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Friday at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY there will be no visitation on Saturday.

Military graveside rites will be performed by the Kenova American Legion.
