Wilma Chinn Applegate

Wilma Chinn Applegate, 77, of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the University Of Cincinnati Medical Center.

She was born in Covington KY on February 24, 1940 a daughter of the late Harry & Zona Earwood Chinn.

She was a member of the Greenup Christian Church where she played the piano and organ for 43 years, a former teacher and real estate agent. She was a member of the Red Hatters, an exceptional gardener and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years David Virgil Applegate; two sons, Samuel Applegate of Aptos CA and Dr. Barry Applegate of Cincinnati OH; a brother in law, Thomas E. Applegate and his wife Marsha of Greenup and a nephew Scott Applegate of Lexington.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Greenup Christian Church by Brother Mike Dennis.

Burial will follow in the Siloam Cemetery in South Shore KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the service Wednesday at the church.
