1975 – 2023

Andrew Joseph “Andy” Maynard 48, of Georgetown KY formally of Worthington KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center following a sudden illness.

He was born in Ashland KY on August 17, 1975, a son of Alvin Clay & Robin Elaine Heavner Maynard of Worthington KY.

He was employed with Penske Logistics and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving with 2nd Marine Division as a Corpsman.

He is survived along with his parents by a brother, Mathew David Maynard of Huntington WV; a nephew, Kyle Maynard of Georgetown KY; aunts and uncles, Betty Boykin, Gail Heavner, Ann Tackett, Mary Kitchen, Bill and Ann Boykin and Russell Heavner along with a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE by Rodney Vance.

Military rites will be held by the Kenova American Legion and active members of the United State Navy.

There is no visitation.     

 It is requested that arrival be at the cemetery at least 20 minutes before the beginning of the service and follow the directions of the cemetery staff.
