Andrew Carlis Stephens, 39, of Radcliff, Kentucky, left the world far too soon on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Andrew was born in Ashland KY on July 29, 1985, and raised in Flatwoods, the middle son of Tim and Linda (Tharp) Stephens.

Andrew was preceded in death by three grandfathers, Thurman Stephens, Wayne Carpenter and Carlis Tharp.

Aside from both parents, he leaves behind a wife, Amber (Duty) Stephens; a son, Silas Owen Stephens; two brothers, Joshua Stephens and Wesley Stephens; Wesley’s wife Erica Stephens; two nephews, Austin and Elijah Stephens; two grandmothers Phyllis (Moore) Tharp and Clara (Claxon) Carpenter; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Andrew was an avid sports fan, closely following the ups and (mostly) downs of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He graduated from Russell High School, a Red Devil in the Class of 2003, where he played saxophone in the school band.

After moving to the Elizabethtown, KY area, he supported his family working for Amazon as a building manager in nearby Shepardsville KY. But Andrew's greatest role was father to Silas, whom he loved to the moon and back.

Though Andrew's time on earth has come to an end, that bond is eternal. Andrew has generously donated his organs in the hope of saving lives he'll never know.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Marvin Boggs.

The family will receive visitors from Noon till the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
