Barbara Eunice Horsley Newman

Barbara Eunice Horsley Newman passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home. Eunice was born April 10, 1945. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Eunice was the only daughter of the late Commy and Lottie Davis Horsley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Norman Davis, Winfred Horsley, Donald Horsley and Ronald Horsley. She is survived by her husband of fifty years Ralph L. Newman whom she married on February 17, 1968. In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Barbara Lavon Gullett and her husband Kent, Rebecca Lee Potter and her husband Bill and Alan Ralph Newman and his wife Bobbi Jo; her grandchildren, Dustin Kent Gullett and his wife Sarah, Katelyn Bree Potter, William Oscar “Bil-Bill” Potter, Grace Elizabeth Potter and Alan Adison Newman all of Greenup; two brothers, Coy Horsley and his wife Jannie and George Horsley and his wife Christine along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup by Brothers Jimmy Potter and Mike Fyffe. Burial will follow in the Warnock Cemetery in Warnock KY. Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 and from 9:00 AM till the time of the funeral Wednesday at the funeral home. Serving as pall bearers are Ralph L. Newman, Alan R. Newman, Kent Gullett, Bill Potter, Dustin Gullett, Bil-Bill Potter and Adison Newman.
