1948 – 2023

Barbara Ann Howard 74 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus OH.

She was born in Worthington KY on December 4, 1948, a daughter of the late Richard & Mary Louise Stewart Tackett.

Ann was a great bowler, baker and cake decorator. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her family.   

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Ronald “Ron” Howard; a sister, Joyce Fortner; a brother, David Tackett; two stepsons, Doug Howard and Tom Howard; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.

She is survived by a six children and stepchildren; Gary “Charlie Brown” McClain and his wife Stephanie of Dallas TX, Joyce Laffin and her husband Robb of Canal Winchester OH, John Howard and his wife Diane of London  OH, Bub Howard of Greenup, Wendall Howard and his wife Kathy of Greenup, Jeff Howard and his wife Sunshine of Nebraska; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Lloyd Nazarene Church by Brother Ed Spears.

Burial will follow in the Tackett Cemetery on Smith Branch Road in Greenup KY.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the time of the service on Friday at the church.
