1943 – 2022

Betty Jean “Rosco” Green 78 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Morning Pointe of Russell KY.

She was born in Chicago IL on April 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry & Betty Hesse Wilkins.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Donald Ray “Sly” Green.

She was a licensed cosmetologist, loved to paint and enjoyed spending time with her family and pets.

She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Jane Boyd and her husband Bob of Ashland and Donna Marie Stovic and her husband Bill of Catlettsburg; a sister, Dawn Finney and her husband Don of Fountain MI; seven grandchildren, Ben Stovic, Chris Stovic, Nikki Fraley, Brianna Boyd, Jerimiah Boyd, Summer Short and Vanessa Boyd; 10 great grandchildren along with several extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM till Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with her arrangements.
