Bill Stevens
1939 – 2023
William Henry “Bill” Stevens 84 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at his residence.
He was born in Argillite KY on May 17, 1939, a son of the late Henry Harmon & Mintie Elizabeth Elliott Stevens.
He was a retired Carman for CSX Railroad and was a member of G.O.T.E.M.; he loved his family and working with his antique tractors.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by two brothers, Charles Stevens and Elwood Stevens and three sisters, Grace Hatfield, Polly Nichols and Eva Baldridge.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Ann Workman Stevens; two daughters, Donna Sue Caudill and her husband Dan of Minford OH and Vickie Jo Stevens-Pease and her husband Dwaine of Grove City OH; a brother, Clarence “Tucker” Stevens of Greenup; four grandchildren, Justin Ryan Caudill, John Christopher Caudill, Megan Rivers and Hannah Lewis; ten great grandchildren, Jacoby Caudill, Jaxon Caudill, Jerimiah Anderson, Evan Anderson, Olivia Lewis, Finnegan Lewis, Harper Rivers, Emerson Rivers, Riley Rivers and Kristy Greene along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Jimmy Harris.
Burial will follow in the Stevens Cemetery in Argillite KY.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023, and one hour Saturday before the funeral service at the funeral home.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
