Carroll Lynn Blevins, 81, of Greenup, KY passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Carter County, Kentucky on September 28, 1941, the eldest son of the late Chester and Hazel Blevins.

Carroll enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and especially car shows. His biggest hobby was spending time with those he cherished the most his family.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a sister-in-law, Gail Blevins and a mother-in-law, Hope Mullins.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 59 years Ginni Mullins Blevins; son, Noah Blevins and his wife Lisa of Russell; daughters, Jodi Evans and her husband Cliff of Oldtown, Gina Carr and her husband Amos of Greenup; brothers, Lee Blevins and his wife Brenda of Catlettsburg, J.R. Blevins and his wife Sue of Greenup and Gary Blevins of Greenup; sisters, Janet Poplin and her husband Elwood of Worthington, Yvonne Stapleton and her husband Wes of Greenup; grandchildren, Christopher Evans of Greenup, Jenny Lynn Adkins and her husband Clint of Ashland, Eli Carr and his wife Lauren of Greenup, James Evans of Oldtown and Carson Blevins of Russell; great grandchildren, Hailey, Sophia, Bella, Isiah, Allison, Oliva, Jaxton, Natalie and Nora along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY by Pastor Scott Hill.

Burial will follow in the Plum Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY and one hour before the funeral on Wednesday at the funeral home.
