Chadd Tracey Moore was born March 7, 1973 at St Clare Medical Center in Morehead Kentucky. He was the only son to his parents, Tracey Clay and Ritha Gail Brewer Moore of Plum Grove Road in Greenup. On Sunday, January 26, 2020, at the age of 46 he departed from this life following an extended illness at The Pillars Hospice Home in Oak Dale Minnesota.

Chadd graduated from Raceland High School in 1991 and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Applied Process Technologies (APT) in 1993.

He is a former employee of Marathon Petroleum in Catlettsburg, was an Operator at Crude/Sat Gas and worked out of the NASA Control Room. He worked as a shift foreman in the Pitch/Petrochemical area and later became a shift foreman in the #3 Crude/Vac area. In 2007 he then transferred as a shift foreman with Marathon Refinery to St. Paul Minnesota.

Although Chadd lived the last several years away from his Kentucky home, residing in Minnesota, he will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his love of music, football, Cincinnati Reds baseball, Corvettes. As well as his kind heart, good looks, quick wit and great sense of humor but most of all Chadd loved to laugh.

He was of Christian faith, baptized as a youth at Wurtland Nazarene Church by his daddy and former pastor Sonny Sparks.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tracey and Mary Moore; maternal grandparents, Acie and Frances Brewer; an uncle, Jim Brewer; his best friend, Shane Davidson and his beloved Boxer, Butch.

He is survived along with his parents by a sister, Alicen Brook Moore; a nephew, Zyler Maddox Greene, both of Argillite; two uncles, Mike Moore of Little Rock Arkansas and Tim Moore of Ashland; two aunts, Reva (Paul) Boyd of Argillite and Renita (Larry) Clarke of Frankfort along with many cousins, other extended family and friends..

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Wurtland Nazarene Church by Dr. Scott Hill.

Burial will follow in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the service Saturday at the church.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup Kentucky has been entrusted with Chadd’s services.
