Charles Buckley

1946 – 2023

Charles Richard Buckley 76 of Worthington KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his residence following a sudden illness.

He was born in Kenova WV on August 8, 1946, a son of the late Early & Ruby Robinson Buckley.

He was a graduate of Catlettsburg High School, retired salesman for Wrigley Company and Brach Candy Company and was Master Mason and a member of Greenhill Masonic Lodge #521 F & A.M.

He is survived by a daughter, Christy Buckley Metcalf and her husband John of Prosper TX; two granddaughters, Lindsay and Ella; his life partner, Leann May of Ashland KY; a brother, Roger Buckley and his wife Gloria of Foley AL; two sisters, Roberta Koster and her husband James of Worthington and Rebecca Perry of Lafayette WV along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, his lodge brethren and friends.

Masonic Funeral Rites will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Greenhill Masonic Lodge #521 F & AM, 20050 State Rt. 3, Rush KY 41168, the services are open to the public and all of Charlie’s family and friends are welcome.

Burial will be at a later date in the Ashland Cemetery.     

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
