Charles Gaylen “Chuck” Howard 71 of Raceland KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 22, 2019.
He was born in Paintsville KY on May 22, 1947 a son of the late Charles Fredrick & Dora Edith Travis Howard.
He was a retired Assistant Terminal Manager for Norfolk and Southern Railroad, an avid horseman and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Tamera Lynn “Tammy” Webb Howard; a son, Wayne Kibbey and his wife Kariann of Flatwoods; a daughter, Sabrina Webb of Lexington; three grandchildren, Chelsey, Haley and Caden; four brothers, William Morris Howard and his wife Christena of Webbville, John Howard and his wife Rita of Louisa, James Ira Howard of Barboursville WV and Tommy Howard and his wife Linda of Webbville; three sisters, Glenna Daniels of Ashland, Kay Thompson and her husband Clayton of Boyd County and Cheryl Howard of Ashland; his loving dog, Bell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2019 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery N.E. by Brother Acy Gibson.
There is no visitation.
In lieu of flowers it is requested the donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
