Charles Hall
1945 – 2021
Charles William Hall 75 of Lloyd KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.
He was born in Oldtown KY on March 4, 1945 a son of the late William Vernon & Lillian Ruth Meadows Hall.
He was a member of the Wurtland Missionary Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired out of the mail room at Marathon Oil.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Mary A. Bradley Hall in 2015; two brothers, Phillip Hall and George Hall and a sister, Lillian Ruth Barker.
He is survived by a sister, Janice Swartout of Livonia MI; two sisters-in-laws, Phyllis Clark of Flatwoods and Pauline Hall of Greenup; two brothers-in-laws, Roger Barker of Flatwoods and Clyde Junior Bradley (Virginia) of Ironville KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jesse James for helping care for Charles.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers J.R. Gullett and Marvin Boggs.
Burial will follow in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
The Kenova American Legion will hold Military Graveside Rites.
In lieu of flowers make donations to Community Hospice 1480 Central Ave. Ashland KY 41101.
