Clarence Adkins
1945 – 2024
Clarence Paul Adkins 79, of Oldtown KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his residence.
He was born in Greenup County Kentucky on April 15, 1945, a son of the late William Denvil & Gurtrude Craft Adkins.
He was a retired Carman’s Helper for C.S.X. Railroad.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by three siblings, William Denvil Adkins Jr., Clifford Adkins and Ethel Snyder.
He is survived by a son, Keith Wesley Adkins and his wife Cathy of Oldtown; two granddaughters, Kayla Wilcox and her husband Samuel Lee and Britney Dotson and her husband Micky; three great grandchildren, Aleera Wilcox, Owen Dotson and Emma Dotson along with a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Corns–Adkins Cemetery in Greenup County by Dr. Thomas Melvin.
Burial will be in the Corns-Adkins Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM till Noon at the Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
