Curtis Walker
1940 ~ 2024
Curtis Walker 84, of Argillite KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Kings Daughters Medical Center following a sudden illness.
He was born in Wayne WV on September 16, 1940, a son of the late Charles & Sallie Parsley Walker.
He was a retired coal miner of 22 years, was a member of the Raceland First Assembly of God and an avid Los Angelas Dodgers fan.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by a son, Curtis Lee Walker in 2018; three brothers, Roscoe Walker, Eugene Walker and Kim Walker and two sisters, Virginia Sheppard and Faye Kumer.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Sue Muncy Walker; a son, Gregory Allen Walker and his wife Tracy Jo of Columbus; a daughter, Robyn Renae Maneval and her husband Derek of Carthage MO; a daughter in law, Jennifer Walker of Argillite; eight grandchildren, Caitlin Sworden (Tyler), Clayton Walker (Isabella), Annie Walker, Brandon Walker (Fallon), Justin Walker, Cody Walker (Jessica), Elizabeth Huron (Brendon) and Olivia Maneval; ten great grandchildren, Eliza, Grace, Braydon, Weston, Kingston, Peyton, Jaxon, Everly, Eleanor and Eden; five brothers, Leo Walker (Marie), Charles Walker Jr. (Dorotha), Melvin Walker (Virginia), Billy Ray Walker (Sherry) and Walter Lee Walker; three sisters, Eda Tilley, Pauline Ferguson (Roger) and Ann Walker along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Raceland First Assembly of God by Brother Chad Haggard.
Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY.
Visitation will be from 6:00 till 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the church and one hour before the funeral on Monday at the church.
