Cynthia Lynn Stephens 61, of Greenup KY went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Russell KY a daughter of the late Eldon E. Gillum and Norma Jean Riley Gillum.

She was a member of the Greenup First Baptist Church and was a strong supporter of the youth group and vacation bible school. She was a retired lab technician at Marathon Petroleum in Catlettsburg KY and a former patient care technician and a unit secretary at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, James Martin “Marty” Stephens III; a son, Jamie Gilliam and his wife Jessica of Greenup; her mother, Norma Jean Riley Gillum of Greenup; two grandsons, Rylee Gilliam and Karter Gilliam; a brother, Danny Gillum of Oldtown; a niece, Melanie Gillum; a nephew, Jeremy (Meghan) Gillum; a great niece, Mia Gillum; three great nephews, Jace, Jaxen and Jude Gillum; her mother in law, Ina Stephens; a brother in law, Perry (Rita) Stephens; a sister in law, Connie (Tim) Irwin along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Greenup First Baptist Church by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2022, and one hour before the funeral Friday at the Greenup First Baptist Church.
