David Allen

1957 – 2026

David Allen, 68, of Greenup KY, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 12, 2026, at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Lawrence County OH on October 12, 1957, a son of the late Wornie & Magdalene Prater Allen.         

David was proceeded in death along with his parents by three brothers Zeb Allen, Haden Allen and Denver Allen.

He has survived by two sons Jeremy Allen of Greenup KY and Leslie Allen of Lloyd KY; four grandchildren, Hayley Jo Allen, Wyatt Allen, Waylon Allen and Emily Renee Allen; a significant other, Anna Gibson, along with a host of niece, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial service for David is to be held at a later date.   

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
