David Wilburn
1961 – 2020
David Neal Wilburn 59 of Warnock went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Ashland KY on February 15, 1961 a son of the late Charles & Myrtle Irene Pope Wilburn.
He was a self employed logger, working for Wilburn Logging and was a member of the Smith Creek Christian Church.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Peggy Ann Wilburn in 2014 and a brother, Charlie Wilburn.
He is survived by a son, David Jason Wilburn and his wife Connie Sue of Carter City; four daughters, Lisa Ann Sparks and her husband Michael of Grayson, Jennifer Kelly Neace and her husband Floyd Jr. of Three Prong, Kimberly Nichole Neace and her husband Trevor of Kehoe and Treasa Renee Wilburn of Carter City; three brothers, Carl (Sandy) Wilburn of Arizona. Sam (Dorothy) Wilburn of Wurtland and Phillip Wilburn of Iowa; three sisters, Carla Gail Bates of Stanford; Doris “Peanut” (Tom) Newman of Richmond and Robin Spicher of Baxter TN; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Graveside services and burial will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Wilburn Cemetery on Evener Hill Road in Warnock KY by Brother Floyd Neace.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till Noon on Saturday at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland KY 41101.
