David Worthington

1955 – 2021

David Norman Worthington 66 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Ironton OH on June 10, 1955, a son of the late Finley Russell & Elsie Hollister Worthington.

He is a retired quality control operator from Liebert in Ironton OH. He was a member of the Greenup United Methodist Church and the C3 Freedom House.

A former Scout Master for the Boy Scouts Troop 96, a member of G.O.T.E.M., the Model T Ford Club of America and the Huntington Region A.A.C.A..

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a sister, Marcia Adkins.

He is survived by his wife Eileen Frances O’Connor Worthington; three sons, Sean O’Connor of Flatwoods, Mark Worthington of Lexington and Brian Worthington of the Bahamas; a daughter, Caitlin Worthington of the Bahamas; three sisters, Carol Suchow and her husband Dale of Buffalo NY, Janet Mangan and her husband Mike of Indiana and Wendy Kiser and her husband Duayne of Flatwoods along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Greenup United Methodist Church by Rev. Dr. Nancy Preston and Rev. Jeff Williams.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the time of the funeral on Friday at the church.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with Dave’s arrangements.
