Debra Lynn Hayes

Debra Lynn Hayes 60 of Argillite went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 06, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Ashland KY on August 3, 1959 a daughter of Myrtle Frances Coomer Pennington McGuire of Fernandina FL and the late Allen Gene Pennington.

She was a former Licensed Practical Nurse at the V.A. Medical Center in Huntington WV and attended the Pumpkin Center Church in Argillite.

She was preceded in death along with her father by a sister, Peggy Ann Edmonds.

She is survived along with her mother by her husband Rickey Hayes; two daughters, Cassandra Lynn Hayes of Argillite and Chelsey Lynn Hayes of Raceland; three grandchildren, Ivy Lynn Hayes, Ariana Lynn Hall and Tony Bersey V; two brothers, Allen “Butch” Pennington and his wife Kim of Louisiana and Eddie Pennington and his wife Robin of Fernandina; three sisters, Linda Lou Hodge and her husband Jerry of Milton WV, Barbara Sue Caudill of Fernandina and Glenna Jo Hale of Louisa; two brother in laws, Stanley Hayes and his wife Teresa of Argillite and Curt Coffey of Flatwoods along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 10, 2020 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Kenny Martin.

Burial will follow in the Pennsylvania Cemetery in Argillite KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Sunday and one hour before the funeral Monday at the funeral home.
