Denver Allen

1947 – 2025

Denver Lee Allen, 77, of Lloyd KY, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 23, 2025, at his residence.

He was born in Floyd County KY, on April 16, 1947, a son of the late Wornie & Magdalene Prater Allen.

Denver served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a retired Ironworker for Dayton Walters.

He was proceeded in death along with his parents by his wife Betty Ann Clay Allen and two brothers Zeb Allen and Haden Allen.

He has survived by a brother David Allen (Anna) of Lloyd KY, a nephew Leslie “Les” Allen of Lloyd KY, a great nephew Waylon Allen along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY, by brother Richard Crum.  

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
