1961 – 2021

Donald “Donnie” Keith Rowe, 59, of Greenup went to be with Lord on Monday, March 22, 2021.

Donnie is survived by his wife Robin Rowe; two children Aaron Rowe (Whitney) and Allison Rowe Trujillo (Robert); two granddaughters Wrigley Grace Rowe and Phoenix Sophia Trujillo; two brothers Bobby Rowe (Beth) and John Rowe (Rachel); one sister Suzanne Porter (Alan); nieces Celina, Katelynd, and Paige, nephews Luke and Dustin, and godson Zach Whitt. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Rowe and Fern Tackett Rowe.

Donnie was a 1979 graduate of Raceland High School, where he was inducted into the 2019 Raceland Ram Football Hall of Fame. Donnie was a member of Lloyd Church of the Nazarene. He was a Construction Manager and Supervisor for Speedway LLC and he loved his job.

Donnie was an avid sports lover. He was the president of GCJFL for seven years and coached baseball, football, and basketball throughout Greenup County. In his spare time through the years, you could find Donnie helping with Greenup County High School Baseball.

He took pride in getting up early on Sunday Mornings, handing out the church bulletins and attending Sunday School. He loved swimming in his pool, riding his golf cart, hanging around Whitt’s Tire Town, eating wings with his friends, vacationing at Kiawah Island, loving on any dog and playing with his granddaughters.

Donnie was a joy in life and his friends and family should remember that he has even more joy now in his new life.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Lloyd Church of the Nazarene 

157 Ohio River Road Greenup, Ky by Brother Ken Martin.

Burial will follow in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY.

Visitation will be from 12 noon till the time of the funeral service on Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lloyd Church of the Nazarene.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY have been entrusted with his arrangements.
