Dwight Dale Vance 73 of Russell KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Ashland KY.

He was born in Logan WV on September 29, 1948, a son of the late Randolph & Lucille Combs Vance Sr.

He was a retired railroad clerk and the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Brotherhood of Clerical & Airline Employees and the former General Chairman of the Transportation Communications Union / IMA.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Sandy; brothers, Phillip, Michael, Gary, Steven and Mark and a stepdaughter, Shelly Lemaster.

He is survived by three brothers, Randolph Jr., Cornelius and Gregory; sisters, Angela Greathouse; Alesia Hutchinson and Anita Large; a step granddaughter, Cassie Hanft along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A private burial will be at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY.

There is no visitation.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with his arrangements.
