Evora Earlene Edwards 67, of Catlettsburg KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Wurtland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland KY.

She was born in Springfield OH on May 18, 1958, a daughter of the late Tilbert Ray Traylor & Pauline “Polly” Walker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Edwards; a brother, Ray Traylor and a sister, Marge Crites.  

She was a member of the Church of God in Flatwoods KY. She spent her life as a servant of the Lord, faithfully working in church and for the Lord.

She is survived by a son, Donnie Edwards and his wife Tara of Austin TX; a daughter, Christina Fitzgerald and her husband Leslie of Frankfort KY; two grandchildren, Dakota Rhoades and Dominique Albertson; two brothers, Jim Traylor of Panama City FL and Doug Traylor of Grayson; her caregiver, Michael Daniels along with a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.

Burial will follow beside her husband in the McGuire Cemetery in Greenup KY.  

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
