Emily Faye Neace 78, of Greenup KY, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 23, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Emily was born on January 17, 1946, in Wellston, OH, a daughter of John and Ruby Litteral Blanton.

She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Brushheart Christian Baptist of Leatherwood Rd. She enjoyed her time quilting, mowing the grass, and spending time spoiling her children and grandchildren.

Emily was proceeded in death by two sons, James Patrick Neace and William Mark Neace; her parents, Ruby Mildred Litteral Blanton and John Blanton; three brothers, Phillip Blanton, Robert Blanton and Russell Blanton, and one sister, Brenda Higgins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Floyd Nelson Neace, Sr; seven sons, Kevin Joe Neace (Wayna) of Flatwoods KY, Samuel Jeffery Neace (Dusty) of Watford City ND, Floyd Nelson Neace, Jr (Sherry), Brian Keith Neace (Carolyn), Trevor Howard Neace (Kim) all of Greenup KY, Christopher Brent Neace (Janet) of Ashland KY, and Dustin Todd Neace (Andrea) of Lawton, OK; three daughters, Karen Melinda Collier (Dan), Regina Leann Crum (Chuck) of Ashland, KY and Peggy Sue Miller (Brent) of South Shore KY; 39 grandkids; 31 great grandkids; five sisters, her twin, Shirley Tussey, Sue Gray (David), and Belva Braden (Lucky) all of Greenup KY, Janet Skaggs of Henderson NC, and Juanita Kay Adkins of Gainesville FL;  four brothers, David Blanton (Alice), Howard Blanton (Georgia), James Blanton, all of Greenup KY, and Richard Blanton (Stella) of Summit KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she truly loved.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Floyd Neace.

Burial will follow in the Warnock Cemetery in Warnock KY.  

Visitations will be on Monday, August 26, 2024, after 6:00 PM and one hour before the funeral on Tuesday at the funeral home.
