Ernest Franklin “Frank” Jones, 78, of Wurtland KY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Wurtland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Rock Hill SC on September 23, 1945, a son of the late Otis F. & Annie B. Steen Jones.

He was proceeded in death along with his parents by his wife, Peggy Lousie Adkins Jones and a son William Franklin Jones.

He survived by his daughter Rachel Ann Elizabeth Woods and her husband James of Clover SC; a brother, Ervin Holmes Jones of SC; a sister, Betty Lou Sigmon of SC; several grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time. The burial will be held later in South Carolina.  

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
