Virginia Arlene “Ginny” South 70, of Ironton OH went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the home of her friend, Mary Potter.

She was born in Miami FL on July 23, 1954, a daughter of the late Robert & Charlotte Hewitt Berg.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a sweet simple person that loved nature, animals and the outdoors. She loved her daughter, her mother and her church family.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother, Robert Berg.

She is survived by a daughter, Katelyn Marie Moloney of Lewisburg PA; two sisters, Linda Mitchell of New Smyrna Beach FL and Barbara Ann Berg of Dellas NC; her church family and many other extended family and friends.

There will be a memorial service at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Russell KY.

It was her instructions to be cremated and buried in Florida with her mother.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her church.
