1936 – 2023

Glen Allen Christian 87 of Worthington KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center following a sudden illness.

He was born in Prichard WV on January 6, 1936 a son of the late Clarence & Erma Terry Christian.

He retired from AK Steel and operated and owned his own upholstering business.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife Patricia Christian; a son, Jeffrey Christian and four sisters.

He is survived by three sons, Glen A. Christian II of Ashland KY, Robert M. Christian and family of Barbourville WV and Aaron S. Christian of Richmond KY; a daughter, Brenda K. Wells and her husband Rusty of South Shore; twenty grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren; two brothers, William Christian of Summit and Benny Christian of Catlettsburg; five sisters, Anna Hall of Elyria OH, Josephine Hamilton and her husband Curt of Rush, June McKenzie and her husband Jerry of Russell, Carol Coonrod and Judy Salyers and her husband Cliff both of Flatwoods; his former wife, Anita Gibson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers Cliff Salyers and Tim Holmes.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM till the time of the service on Tuesday.
