Glenn Stephens
1932 – 2024
Willard Glenn “Peanut” Stephens, 92, of Greenup KY, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on June 11, 1932, in Greenup County, a son of the late Lonnie & Leona Brown Stephens.
Glenn was a faithful member of the Raceland First Assembly of God. He was a retired Crane Operator for AK Steel. One of his favorite hobbies was drag racing cars.
He preceded in death along with his parents by a son Willard Ray Stephens; two brothers, Kenneth Earl Stephens and Carl Edward Stephens and four sisters, Juanita Wilburn, Cleetes Byers, Clara Mae Bradford and Janice Claxon.
He was survived by his wife of 73 years, Clara Faye Wells Stephens and together they have raised 6 generations.
Additional survivors include a son Glenn Edward Stephens and his wife Alberta of Greenup KY.; two daughters, Karen Potter and her husband Kenneth of Raceland KY and Tina Prichard and her husband Tommy of Greenup; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by brother Chad Haggard.
Burial will follow in the Plum Grove Cemetery in Greenup KY.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, and one hour before the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
