Haskell Wright
1950 – 2025
Haskell Lee Wright, 75, of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord Monday, April 28, 2025, at The Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton OH.
He was born on Coal Branch in Greenup KY on March 10, 1950, a son of Henry & Garnet Barker Wright.
Haskell served in the Air Force as a Fire Truck Mechanic. He was also Maintenance for PCI. Haskell was a skilled Wood Worker and Mechanic. He loved treasure hunting and metal detecting and was a member of the Gold Prospecting Club.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Henry (Gertude) Wright; his mother Garnet Barker Wright; two brothers Johnney Wright and Charles Wright and a sister, Wilma Gean Fryer.
He has survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Warnock Wright; a son, Daniel Wright and his wife Regina of Greenup KY; six daughters, Christina Travis and her husband Dave of Ashland KY, Brittany Jobe of Ashland KY, Alisha McIntosh and her husband Kelly of Raceland KY, Melinda Payne and her husband Cabell of Milford OH, Carolyn Grubb and her husband Paul of Wedington NC and Deanna Boggs and her wife Lena of Dayton OH; sixteen grandchildren, Dana Wright, Noah Wright, Tate Jobe, Ayden Stephens, Devin Boggs, Alexis Boggs, Jacob Horsley (Hannah), Heather Horsely, Jessica Collins (Tausha), Anya Corp (Jarrod), Brendan Grubb, Addy Grubb, Evan Grubb, Douglas Boggs, Lorena Boggs and Alex Travis; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sue Staley and her husband Paul of Scottsdale Arizona, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Family and friends will be gathering from noon till 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
Burial will take place at Warnock Cemetery in Warnock KY at a later date.
