Helen Louise Burns 76 of Raceland KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Raceland on October 5, 1945, a daughter of the late Isaac Newton Corns & Lois Alice Kiser Purnell.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Shelby Burns and two sons, David Reed and Jeffery Reed.

She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Joe Reed of Raceland and Clayton Isaac Reed of Greenup; a brother, Paul Edward Corns of Garrison; a sister, Minnie Collier of Argillite; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with Helen’s arrangements.
