Henderson “Bud” Collier 83 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at his home following a sudden illness.

He was born in Load KY on August 27, 1940, a son of the late Rufus Calloway & Hazel Morris Collier.

He was a member of the Serinity Baptist Church and was a licensed plumber and the owner of Collier’s Plumbing.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by two brothers, Calvin Collier and Paul Collier; six sisters, Carol Collier, Leona Noxsel, Beatrice Coriell, Joyce Krajewski, Mildred Collier, Lola Collier; a stepmother, Flora Reed Collier and three stepchildren, Terry Lee Reed, Kevin Eugene Reed and Carrie Lynn Kyzeck.

He is survived by his wife Minnie Marie Corns Collier; two sons, Timothy Collier and Joe Collier both of CA; two daughters, Lorri Lawless and Kimberly Reyes both of CA; a step son, Larry Reed of Greenup; three brothers, Carl Collier of South Webster OH, Ray Collier of Greenup and Mark Collier of Ashland; three sisters, Lois Potter of South Shore, Freda Taylor of Lake Havasu CA and Tunecia Collier of FL; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 05, 2024, at the Brick Union Gospel Lighthouse Church by Brother Carl Collier.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon till the time of the service on Monday.

Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in the Collier Cemetery in Load KY.   

It was Bud’s request of no flowers, he requested donations be made to the family.
